Owner & Founder – Jason Zaplin

Jason Zaplin has been in the industry since he was 10 years old. A graduate of the Institute of Culinary Education, Jason knows all sides of the event industry – the back end as an educated food expert, and the front end as the DJ, in the spotlight where he loves to greet and engage guests.
As president of DJ Zap, Jason is passionate and enthusiastic about his company and the joy it brings to event-holders all over the NYC metro area. He works tirelessly to deliver a best-in-class event to his clients. He recruits the DJs, MCs, and dancers himself, hand-picked professionals who he is confident will be the best bar mitzvah DJ or wedding DJ North Jersey can possibly hire. Musical Director – Julian Alleyne

Julz Alleyne, known in DJ circuits as DJ Julz, enlivens DJ Zap events with the hottest mixes and newest tracks. No matter what the genre, DJ Julz picks up the tracks and runs with them, ensuring that the soundtrack to your evening goes off without a hitch. A DJ for many years, DJ Julz is the official DJ for Benatton and Melo V.

DJ David S – DJ/MC

David Santamaria comes with over 15 years of experience in DJing and sound engineering. With a degree in audio from The Institute of Audio Research, David brings top quality sound to the DJ experience. Having provided DJ services for Weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Sweet Sixteens, Proms and Night Clubs, David can play music to all crowds and has experience in all genres of music. HIs library of songs is huge and, if it’s not already there, Dave provides a request on demand service that will have you listening to your song within minutes. DJ Alexander – DJ/MC

A member of the DJ Zap Music Team. He has been spinning for the past 4 years and will keep your event rocking all night. Alex plays all kinds of music and will cater to any special occasion. He was the tour DJ for Lil Wayne. Check him out at your next DJ Zap Music event.

DJ Lexx – DJ/MC

With an unconditional love of music and a deeply inspired devotion to the art of DJing, DJ Lexx has made everyone from club owners, club goers and even other DJ’s sit up and take notice. In a time where the focus seems to be on the “celebrity DJ”, DJ Lexx brings it back to basics as he continues to cultivate and perfect his unique vision of turntablism. Growing up being a DJ has always been a huge interest in Lexx. To date, DJ Lexx has played throughout the entire northeast area. He has appeared in Atlantic City, NYC, Connecticut and Boston. He has performed at sold out shows at the Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford, CT and at the Webster Theatre in Hartford, CT opening up for EDM celebrity DJ’s Steve Aoki and R3hab!
