We hired Jason- DJ Zap- for our daughter’s Bat Mitzvah this past weekend. He was a delight to work with prior to the event, returning calls and emails promptly, and was very respectful of our specific wants and needs. He showed up promptly day of, set up quickly, and during the party he was amazing. The kids danced ALL night- older kids who hadn’t planned to stay for the party all stayed because they were having the best time with Jason. Adults loved him too. We couldn’t have been happier. His focus on connecting to the kids through dance and not shouting orders through a microphone is what really made him stand out from all the other DJ’s we’ve seen at other events. I recommend him highly.
We hired DJ Zap after hearing rave reviews from some of our friends and I’m so glad we listened to them! Jason and his crew provided kick-a$$ entertainment for our daughter’s Bat Mitzvah this past weekend! They had 65 kids on the dance floor, fully engaged for the entire party! The energy that Jason, DJ James, Adam and Sydney brought to our event was unparalleled! The music was phenomenal and all of our special requests were accommodated without question (and we had some real doozies for our candle lighting!). We had used a different DJ company for our older daughter’s Bat Mitzvah 3 years ago and I told Jason after our event yesterday that I only wish we had him and his crew for hers because there was no comparison! I can’t recommend DJ Zap and his crew enough–so easy to work with, great communication, high energy and absoluely fabulous from start to finish. Thank you Jason, DJ James, Adam and Sydney for helping to make Liza’s Bat Mitzvah dreams come true! You guys truly rock!
DJ Zap was the secret weapon at my daughter’s bat mitzvah celebration,Saturday, April 1. None of the adults, had ever seen anything like it before! Jason “Zap”lin and his talented team, had 50+ kids on their feet dancing, and laughing from the minute they entered the room to the bitter end 4 hours later. Everyone was surprised by the group of 13 boys in blue jackets and khaki pants on the dance floor energized by dancer “Adam” who showed them all the latest dance moves. I’m not so sure the boys had any moves before the bat mitzvah, but they certainly left with some! Carlita, the female dancer did the same with the girls, as did Jason, DJ Zap, the emcee, dancer, motivator extraordinaire. DJ Zap and his team maintained a high energy level on the dance throughout the afternoon. The only time I saw the kids sit, was during the montage as they sat on the dance floor, followed by sugar high brought on by a sundae bar and a final burst on the dance floor. Jason, was professional and full of ideas during our upfront meeting. He couldn’t have been more responsive through the process. I recommend him highly. Believe me, book him now before his popularity impacts future availability.
We just had DJ Zapp last weekend for our daughter’s Bat Mitzvah. It was a small venue & mainly kids. He did a GREAT job. Because of the size we did not have additional dancers, but DJ Zapp was out on the floor engaging with the kids. He did a great job of playing the games my daughter wanted as well as mc’ing when we needed. Very organized, great communication. I highly recommend! We’ll book him again for our younger daughter’s bat mitzvah in 2 years!
DJ ZAPP was a huge hit at our daughter’s bat mitzvah in Brooklyn. The energy Jason and his dancers brought to the dance floor was incredible- he has an amazing ability to connect with kids, his instincts for this age group were pretty much spot on. Our daughter was THRILLED. Jason and his team literally had both the girls AND boys dancing for 4 straight hours. No small feat. Jason was kind, professional and reasonable. Highly recommended.
My daughter Marissa’s Bat Mitzvah was this past weekend at the Hanover Manor in East Hanover and the party was Amazing! DJ Zap and his crew were Outstanding and were essential in making this celebration a fantastic one! We have received tons of compliments the day of and even calls afterwards on how wonderful DJ Zap and his crew were! Julz the DJ played a perfect selection of music that kept adults and kids dancing throughout the entire party! Max and Jason motivated the kids on the dance floor while teaching them new moves!! Jason kept the kids entertained with really fun games that even some adults joined in! Jason also provided us with a photo booth from Autumn Falls Production that Nick oversaw. Nick was great in assisting my party guests with props to make their experience a fun one! This was a fabulous photo booth that gave you the option of color or black pictures and also provided my logo on the bottom carrying on the theme of the party. Thank you Jason and your crew for making Marissa’s special day a memorable one, I would highly recommend your services!
