Thanks for the music to a wonderful party. I am so relieved when the kids started dancing – Molly wanted a dance party!! Her friends there came from 3 different groups so maybe that is why it took sometime to warm-up. The kids commented afterwards how they were pleased that you took their requests. Jason was the DJ at my daughter’s bat mitzvah party a few days ago and I could not have been happier. My daughter loved him the first time she met him (exact quote: “Oh man, Mom, he is AWESOME!”). He was a pleasure to work with, and made helpful suggestions about flow and timing of the party. He was also very respectful of my wish to ensure that this was a fun, “clean” kids’ party, and he edited the playlist my daughter came up with to reflect that standard.
At the party, Jason was great with the kids. He was able to get both the girls and the boys up and dancing, and at one point had almost every kid in the room on the dance floor. And, he did this singlehandedly, without any party motivators. The kids all left happy and the consensus from kids, the few adult attendees and parents doing pickup was that it was “a great party.” The LED lighting was a huge hit, and well worth the extra – but very reasonable – fee.
I would highly recommend Jason Zaplin as a DJ for your next event!

“Jason and Zap Music showed us a great time at my daughter Samantha’s Bat Mitzva. He was set up and ready to go right on time,
even though the social hall was right next to the sanctuary where the service was held so he was unable to do a sound check.
He played all of the songs my daughter requested and had all of our requested candle lighting songs, even though some were out of the mainstream. He kept the kids dancing and played games like a hula hoop contest and coke/pepsi. And best of all his price was reasonable.
I would highly recommend him.
